OUR PARTNERS PROVIDE FUNDING FOR OUR WELL PROJECTS, EMPOWER US SO THAT WE CAN WORK INTERNATIONALLY , GUIDE OUR EFFORTS IN ZAMBIA, WORK WITH LEADERS OF THE VILLAGES WE SERVE, AND DRILL OUR WELLS, AND INSPIRE US AND OUR DONORS TO DO THE RIGHT THINGS. THEY ARE ALL AMAZING!
The members and friends of YUMC have generously supported our efforts for over 22 years. YUMC, located in Bucks County, PA, funded our first well in Zambia in 2002 as they rallied to help our founder, Richard Hachoose, provide a well that would be reliable year-round. At the time Zambia was experiencing one of its worst droughts ever. That first well is still doing its job fourteen years later.
Anderson Hills Church began its support of the LGWF in October 2008 when the congregation decided to dedicate its entire Advent offering to our well projects in Zambia. Each succeeding year through 2016 it followed through with that commitment. Their support of our mission over those years enabled us to provide safe, drinking water for ninety rural villages.
Myriad USA, formerly the King Baudouin Foundation, enables U.S. donors to support non-profit initiatives in Europe and Africa. Myriad USA donors are able to support the non-profit organization of their choice in Europe and sub-Saharan Africa in full compliance with U.S. and international laws governing charitable donations. They provide advice and tax benefits, and take care of the due diligence process to ensure that grant moneys only support charitable purposes and do not support violent activities. Peoples Action Forum (PAF) is an indigenous Zambian non-profit organization working in 3 provinces covering seven rural districts. PAF
was founded in 1994, out of awareness of the rising expressions of helplessness from the rural majority. This was achieved by a group of concerned social workers, educators, lawyers, bankers, health specialists, theologians and administrators. PAF works with the LGWF helping us identify villages that have a critical need for our wells, helps prepare residents to share and maintain a well, coordinates with the local well drillers that complete our projects.
ABOUT PARTNERING
We welcome the contributions of new partners. Please contact us if you have ideas about fundraising, our endeavors, or collaboration.
There are many organizations that are dedicated to the same mission we have in Zambia. The sum of our efforts paired with the renewed focus of the Zambian government will eventually provide clean drinking water throughout Zambia.
